Police Brutality in Pittsburgh after the G20
In what was possibly the most surreal, horrific, and unimaginable thing I have ever witnessed in my life, 1200 Riot Police and Military Personal rabidly attacked a group of well under 300 American citizens, many of them just students that were unaware there was even a protest going on. They then expanded their perimeter and shut large areas of Oakland down. This is how my last experience at the G20 in Pittsburgh went down, out of control authorities mercilessly attacking an unarmed crowd …

What was the situation and why were the students flouting what they were told to do? This generation was taught to have no respect for authority and question anything and everything. In some instances it should be questioned. But why endanger your friends, classmates, and others standing by by encouraging disrespect and revolt for no reason other than to cause trouble!

you’re foolish. I’m a 3 time combat Infantryman and under Article VI of the U.S. Constitution and Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions, what the National Guard and Police did is against the Law. Our government has crapped on the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act. Ideological Subversion has worked on you and all the others. If given the situation; not I nor those under me as an Active Dute NCO will be implementing any of this. That’s truly protecting the Constitution and the people.

I really dont see anything that grossly brutal. The police and military are just trying to keep world leaders safe. It’s the G20! Maybe one of the biggest targets for a terrorist attack. The guy with the mega phone is targeted by the police because thats how you disperse a crowd. I appreciate the need for protest and dissenting opinions but all I see here is security trying to get rid of security liabilities. I wasnt there, but I’m going off the video and my security knowledge.

this **** pisses me off, how they can just beat people for a sit in, or even some people who were just walking by. **** if i was one of those people, and they started to beat me for no reason i would never hesitate to fight back. If i’d had a gun and they were beating i wouldn’t hesitate to kill one of them, not to sound like i would go running around killing polices, no, it’s a different situation.
