“all of this happened in front of a yard full of children”…………who are gona grow up and remember this, hate & distrust cops for the rest of their lives, most likely have future problems with police, continuing the vicious cycle of minorities hating police officials, simply because once they put that badge on, people go on a power trip!!! An emergency is when you are in danger. If you called 911 while your friend was getting beat, that is one thing. But to call afterwards, you are no longer in danger and no one is preventing you from going to the police station. If somebody is getting beat to a bluddy pulp, you should call 911 because the danger is ongoing and has potential to get worse. But don’t call and tell them you need the police cause somebody stole a necklace handed down by your grandmother. That’s a little silly.
